Film content must align with the mission and objectives of the sponsoring MWU student organization and be related to healthcare and/or professional development. Topics should not have a political or activist focus and should have an educational emphasis that is aligned with the mission of the student club/organization.
At the discretion of Student Services, student groups may also be approved to show films intended primarily for social engagement, community building, or entertainment, provided the screening is consistent with University policies.
Student groups are responsible for securing the appropriate public performance rights prior to advertising or hosting a screening. Student groups must provide proof of licensing to Student Activities as part of the film screening approval process. If an exemption applies to the specific film screening, the exception must be verified by Student Activities.
